Bio

Daniel Green is a senior member of Arnon, Tadmor-Levy’s Technology & Transactional IP team, working primarily in the areas of life sciences, technology law, intellectual property, and corporate partnering.

Daniel represents emerging and established companies in the life sciences, pharmaceutical, medical device, digital health, information technology, cleantech and defense industries, and works extensively with Israel’s leading technology transfer organizations at universities and medical centers. He represents some of Israel’s most dynamic technology startups, as well as some of the world’s leading technology companies engaged in collaborations with, and acquisitions of, Israel’s most promising companies.

Daniel has extensive experience representing clients engaged in diverse commercial and technology-related transactions, particularly with respect to: structuring, negotiating, and documenting complex licensing, development and technology transfer arrangements, clinical trial and CRO agreements, OEM, manufacturing and other distribution, supply and franchise arrangements, and international collaborations and technology consortia, joint venture, and diverse corporate partnering agreements. He also advises clients on issues related to the Israel Innovation Authority and on intellectual property aspects of M&A and investment transactions.

Daniel speaks regularly about intellectual property and licensing transactions, and all aspects of Israel’s innovation ecosystem. He has lectured at the Law School of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and at the University’s inter-disciplinary BioDesign Program. He also often speaks about these matters to visiting scholars and businesspeople from China, India, and East Asia. In addition, Daniel has written on legal and practical aspects of intellectual property and related transactional issues.

Daniel works extensively on Asia-related transactions and co-heads the firm’s Asia Practice and the China Desk. He served for many years on the board of the Israel-Asia Center, a non-profit organization that sponsors Asian fellows in Israel and which is involved with public education about Israel-Asia issues.

Daniel earned his law degree at Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto. He also holds a B.A. (hon.) in political science from McGill University in Montreal, and an M.A. (magna cum laude) in Middle East history from Tel Aviv University. He was called to the Ontario Bar in 1998 and has been a member of the Israel Bar since 2003.

Prior to joining the firm, Daniel practiced law in Toronto, Canada for several years with the firm of Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP. He has been a partner of Arnon, Tadmor-Levy since 2012.

Daniel is fluent in English and Hebrew, and speaks French.

(NASDAQ: INTC) on IP-related matters in its acquisition of Mobileye N.V. for $15.3 billion.Represented KLA Corporation (NASDAQ: KLAC) in connection with diverse commercial transactions, including product development and procurement transactions, as well as international technology consortium projects.

    Represented Oramed Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: ORMP) in connection with a multi-million-dollar licensing and manufacturing transaction with Hefei Tianhui Incubator of Technologies Co. of China, for orally-ingestible insulin capsules for the treatment of diabetes.

    Represented BioLineRx Ltd. (NASDAQ: BLRX) in connection with a strategic license and collaboration agreement with Hong Seng Technology of Hong Kong and Guangzhou Gloria Biosciences Co. of China, for the development and commercialization of an oncology product in Asia.

    Represented Biomodifying LLC in a strategic, multi-million-dollar development and licensing transaction with Sun Pharma Advanced Research Company Ltd. of India, for the development of treatments for multiple cancer indications.

    Represented Reshef Technologies Ltd. in connection with a technology transfer and supply agreement valued at tens of millions of dollars with Bharat Electronics of India.

    Represented Sweetch Health Ltd. in connection with a development and collaboration agreement with a global pharmaceutical company.

    Represented China International Capital Corporation and Jeffries Hong Kong Limited, the joint sponsors of an initial public offering (IPO) of Sisram Medical Ltd., for listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
