We had the pleasure of participating in the Axis Innovation Event at the Peres Center for Innovation in Yafo. The event was attended by close to 250 people from 16 countries!
Participants included tier-one international corporations and VCs, as well as some great Israeli startups.
Adrian Daniels spoke at the opening reception of the event, welcoming the participants while describing the great business opportunities in Israel, and also sparing a moment to acknowledge the misfortune of others in these difficult global times.

Following the closing of the transaction Mastercard will be setting up a significant R&D center in Israel.
Advs. David Schapiro, Nitzan Kahana and Evyatar Katz, together with intern Yaakov Sapir, represented the infrastructure and energy fund Generation Capital in its acquision, together with the British investment fund Dalmore Capital Limited, of 30% of Porterbrook, one of the largest British rolling stock companies, with a fleet of about 4,000 trains (about 25% of passenger trains in the UK).
Advs. Micki Shapira, Daniel Green and Sophy Litvin represented Fosun Health Fund (the venture capital arm of Fosun Pharma) in an exclusive license and supply agreement with Raziel Therapeutics to develop and commercialize Raziel's proprietary RZL-012, an injection used for reducing double chins, in mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan for milestone payments of up to $74 million plus tiered royalties on future sales. The team was joined by advs. Miriam Friedmann, Inbar Hakimian-Nahari and intern Yang Cheng.
Barak Platt and Josh Hauser represented Intel Capital in leading a $17 million Series A investment in SWIR (short-wave-infra-red) sensing technology developer TriEye.
