Advocates Barak Tal and Dafna Stern represented Unilever in a NIS 100 million lawsuit which was previously approved as a class action and was conducted against Unilever and Osem. The claim alleges that the companies marketed their cereal in weights that differ from those set forth in the standard, thus making it harder for consumers to compare the prices of various products. After analyzing the evidence, the Haifa District Court acccepted the companies' arguments and rejected the claim stating that "the plaintiffs have not proven that had the products been packaged in weights in accordance with the standard, it would improve the ability of consumers to buy the product that is most worthwhile to them.

Advs. David Schapiro, Eliran Furman and Avi Anouchi represented Israeli networking company Silicom Ltd. (Nasdaq:SILC; TASE:SILC) in its acquisition of Danish network appliances company Fiberblaze. The Danish company provides high performance application acceleration solutions for the mobile, telecommunication, network monitoring, cyber security, financial and related industries.

Adv. Avi Anouchi represented Kaminario, an Israeli company which provides enterprise software for dynamic workflow, case management and work optimization solutions, in its $53 million equity financing round‎. The company's current investors participated in the round, including Sequoia Capital, Pitango Venture Capital, Tenaya, Globespan, and Mitsui, together with new investors Silicon Valley Bank, the Lazarus hedge fund, and a large public company that preferred to remain anonymous.

Advs. Barry Levenfeld and Avigail Frisch Ben-Avraham co-hosted a conference on "30 years of R&D Law - Past, Present, Future", together with EY Israel and the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya.
Mr. Avi Hasson, the Chief Scientist of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor lectured at the conference.
