In Israel, unlike the United States, there is no strict procedure forcing the parties in a real estate transaction to conduct examinations about the status of the property. The legal approach in Israel is that the buyer should perform all investigations and inquiries before the purchase agreement has been signed. Lee Maor highlights the importance of such inquiries.
